Hi, I’m Catarina João! I’m a master painter dedicated to breathing life into legends and creatures alike, where every creation tells a story. With a keen eye for detail and a love for storytelling, I’ve spent years perfecting my craft in collectible statues, props, and life-size replicas.
My artistic journey spans from creating intricate miniature dioramas that capture the essence of fantastical worlds to crafting grand-scale set designs that immerse viewers in cinematic experiences. My background in photography and videography complements my artistry, allowing me to blend technical skill with creative vision.
In 2023, I founded Ifrit Studios during New York Comic Con, a space dedicated to creating custom collectibles in Portugal and providing a safe environment for artists to express and explore their creativity. As the studio’s art director, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with renowned brands and talented artists to bring unique, captivating pieces to life.
